Icelandic born artist Kristjana S Williams studied graphic design and illustration at Central St Martins and quickly gained critical acclaim as Creative Director of Beyond the Valley for 8 years. In 2011, Kristjana S Williams began creating fine art pieces, art prints, furniture and more.   Williams’s inspiration lies heavily with layering nature upon nature and ‘the symmetry in all things living’, which stems from the artist’s childhood in Iceland. When growing up the artist found nature there stark and unforgiving. Never seeing trees or colourful butterflies or exotic flowers – everything seemed grey. Now in retrospect, she feels the complete opposite as though the colours and landscape are like nowhere el...

Discipline: Wickwood Art.

Having had a varied career working in theatre, television and film and most recently nearly ten years in an office environment, Caroline felt she needed to make a life change. She chose to pursue a new direction and revisit her creative side which had been hidden away for too long.  Initially she started working with driftwood and then realised she needed a larger 'canvas' and the main idea behind Wickwood Art was born.

Caroline uses reclaimed pallet wood as her canvas and creates unique, one off pieces that are carefully designed and planned around each recycled pallet, the type of wood and its size. Her pallets are sourced responsibly and are broken down with great care and then...

One unbearably hot day in June 2013 we entered the Zaatari refugee camp. We would do so every day for the next week and a half. What we saw will remain with us for ever. It is a sad and desperate place. The children and their families are innocent victims of a cruel and devastating civil war raging in their country. The result of our nine days are the images you see around you. They tell of a vast camp (the largest of its kind), a city that although built with impermanent materials is becoming permanent. Home is across the border. It is just a ‘hotel’ they are staying at temporarily, they insist but hotels you can check out of. Refugee camps, its inhabitants fear, are something you never g...

Max Panks is a London based Artist and Actor that grew up in the rolling landscape of Stroud, Gloucestershire. When Max isn't treading the boards, you can find him in his studio in Ealing with a brush in his hand or on the streets of London with his easel. In January 2017, Max committed to completing one watercolour painting a day for a year. He fell in love with the medium so much that he is still going strong today; making two, sometimes three paintings a day, and having travelled as an actor around Europe, experiencing beautiful scenery in Italy, France, Corsica and Spain, Max has plenty of imagery for inspiration. This solo exhibition in Fulham demonstrates a sma...

Lois is fascinated by process. Her vibrant, diverse and creative practice takes in Printmaking, Design & Art Direction, Illustration, Site-specific murals and Painting. There is, however, a consistent thread running through her work. "I'm interested in capturing the fluidity of an image in motion," says Lois, and it's this sense of fluidity – combined with her love of process and bold colour combinations that makes her work so recognisable.
